It seems as though local restauranteur-slash-budding impresario Michael Gluckman is on a quest to drive his SEO specialist insane. Gluckman has added The Beachhouse to complement his Boathouse (try googling "beachhouse" + "Hamptons" sometime) in his broker-jargon-opoly. The menu and feel are similar, like two book ends on a Prudential Douglas Elliman listing. The Beachhouse occupies the cavernous former Prime 103 (former-former JL East), with a boisterous dining room and bar area (now spruced up with "beach-ier" light wood and three -- count 'em three -- "beauty" HD flat screens around the bar) and a more subdued outdoor patio. The raw bar is in full effect, and the menu features everything from grits and pork and beans to tuna tartare and steaks. For dessert, Chipwich "sliders" and warm dounuts have been hits.
