Pull up a barstool with a few of your pals, and the place is instantly at capacity. Tiny hole-in-the-wall pub that sets Anglophile hearts afire. Proximity means you better get friendly with your neighbor at the bar, seeing as how you’re sitting on his lap. In authentic pub fashion, it closes at 11pm. Thirtysomething dressed-down locals on a first-name basis with the bartender, who serves cask-conditioned ale from Gilroy you can’t get anywhere else.
