The Blind Barber

Editorial Review

A Plan b for Plan B. East Village bar adds haircutting element, because it's worked out so well every time you've combined booze and scissors. (Barbershop and bar are actually overlapping entities, with whitewashed brick space in front for cuts and trims, stealth cocktail lounge in back.) For the latter, wood, leather, and old black and white pics make for classy feel. Neighbor Gnoccho is slinging pizza pies, bar's keeping with the erudite drink trend, blending fresh basil with lemongrass syrup, or bitters, Tanqueray, and elderflower liqueur. Free tipple with every crop, come drink yourself Blind.
