The Boat

Editorial Review

Kensington dance space that literally looks like the inside of a boat, surrounded by port holes. Reminiscent of Captain John's without the seafood smell (that's a good thing), tourists and awful food. Hipsters liven up after midnight to funk, rock, and disco beats on most nights. Fantastic venue for live music. Cheap and cheerful delight in domestic premiums and shots for $5.00. Easier to get drunk without the swaying back and forth.
