The Box

Editorial Review

White-hot former sign factory cultivates major air of mystery. Speakeasy-style bi-level interior, elaborate and mood-lit, with Roaring '20s fixings and wraparound balconies. Inspired by Tombstone's Birdcage Theater, dinner theater runs from showgirls to double-Dutch jump roping to Peter Cincotti, Imogen Heap, and The Citizens Band. Food recently upgraded, goes global and eclectic. Some backlash, but tables are still hard to get and do not come cheap.
