Editorial Review

Major tsuris over recent sale. Looks like the place will survive in its current form and not be turned into a Washington Mutual, however. Creaky, haunted, and the oldest of the proud Old School. Time warp reflects pristine preservation, especially 150-year old bar with classic wood details. Draws cool crowds of cognoscenti and ghosts. Best Bloody Mary, just don't say it three times in front of the mirror. Jazzy jukebox, hustler's pool table in back.
