The Cantankerous Fish

Editorial Review

Winner of funniest/weirdest restaurant name in the Bay Area, for robust, creative grilled fish and sweet cocktails. Sleek glass-and-wood design, with full views of Castro Street parade. Dungeness crab dip gets you started, then a great roasted beet salad and terrific seared Ahi or namesake Sea Bass. Lunchtime brings some of the best fish sandwiches like a Cajun Fish Sandwich, Shrimp & Crab Melt and the House Smoked Salmon Club on fresh sourdough. Each spectacular in their own unique way.
