This '60s-style cocktail lounge and restaurant has an eclectic menu and an even more interesting drink selection. The bartenders (or mixologists, as the pretentious like to call them) take their specialty cocktails very seriously. The Moscow Mule and London Summer seem to be the most popular, but the very knowledgeable folks behind the bar will be happy to make something to your liking and will gladly offer you something else if you don't like it as much as they think you will. The kitchen staff - led by the award-winning local favorite hellraiser-in-the-kitchen John Tesar - will often come out to make sure everything was as tasty as expected. Go for the Pulled Short Rib Tacos or the Cedars Social Burger with the tempura onion rings for a food coma. The dimly-lit spot has quickly become a favorite for South Dallas locals since its opening and always has a good mix of low-key locals that mostly include talented musicians, artists and actors that live across the street at South Side on Lamar.
