Leading the way in the Barracas hotel gold rush, this six-suite boutique has the rest of the pack snapping at its heels. Lovingly restored and subsequently abandoned by a gay couple, whose spirit lives on in the contemporary but not ridiculous design, as well as the name (it was a dog, y'all). Currently run by a lady sexpat who is happy to tell you about the onda of the neighborhood and the city at large. Booze it up on the terrace before retiring to your rather spacious bed. Tango/yoga studio on the premises could make or break your decision to stay here.
