Editorial Review

Mammoth sandwiches win hearts on Lower Greenville. For such an unassuming spot, Corner Bakery is a heavy-hitter in crowd attraction. This florist, bakery and deli combo almost always has a crowd queuing for pimento cheese or mom's meatloaf sandwiches under its restored tin-stamp ceiling, leftover from its days as a pharmacy almost 90 years ago. Soccer moms, CEOs and dumpster divers rub elbows next to tile-topped tables and large picture windows, which make for excellent people-watching.
