BlackBook Lowdown

Bright and cheery café in Waikiki has a country French décor. Asian owner Nathan Tran specializes in crepes, eggs and omelettes. The Japanese tourists flock, but locals have arrived curious. The crepes have been a big favorite and so is the Baked Eggs with Shrimp. Bring an open mind and expect a feminine setting. The parking is validated; bring cash since credit cards are not accepted yet.

User Reviews

a gem

Posted by opusa on Monday, February 16, 2009

Cream Pot is truly a gem. It's located at the edge of Waikiki, overlooking cannel. It's a faily new restaurant opend in 2008, but already receiving great reviews. They serve spectacular breakfast & brunch food that you won't find anywhere. For sweets: French style crepes, French toasts, Belgian waffles that all come with fresh fruit and cream For savories: French rolled omelets, Eggs Benedicts, Savory crepes, Baked Eggs. Their Maguro Benedict is their original which comes with rice cake instead of English muffins, Maguro sashimi instead of bacons, topped with poached eggs, shiso leaves and orange miso-shoyu sauce. The decor is french country style with full of charm. It's a very nice dining experience that you cannot miss.
