The Culver Hotel

Editorial Review

Break out the butterfly nets! First one to bag a 'little person' wins. This is where the Munchkins went wild during the Oz shoot. Later, John Wayne owned the joint, stocking it with his celeb friends, after whom the suites are named. Culver is hot again, and this is where it all starts. Rooms in the hotel's brick Flatiron have marble baths and antique furnishings—maybe not spacious, but then again, you're 4'10" and haven't paid your dues to the Lollipop Guild.
