The Dorsia

Editorial Review

In the movie version of American Psycho, protagonist Patrick Bateman can never nab a reservation at fictional Manhattan restaurant Dorsia. This drives him to don a translucent raincoat and pick up an axe. Now one-up Batemen—without resorting to violence—by booking a table at this restaurant, bar, and member's club of the same name. Yes, it serves sea urchin ceviche. No, you won't find ’80s shag carpets. Instead, expect onyx, Italian marble, and black granite surfaces inside this three-level Georgian townhouse. Sinatra plays upstairs; DJs spin in the nightclub below. Crowd is mainly local professionals. Cocktail list by the Directors of the Chelsea Academy of Bartending.
