The Drawing Room

Editorial Review

Small contemporary American plates touched by Midas-like hands of James Beard winner Shawn McClain. Cocktails are dangerously succulent, revamped by brain of mixologist Charles Jory: one-plus-one equals hundred-proof sauce. Like neighbor discotheque Le Passage, Drawing Room's open late (as is their kitchen), luring in gelled hair, whispers of crows feet and deep, glitter-dusted cleavage. Menu's seasonal; hopefully, the Wagyu Beer with chanterelle-foie gras panzanella's here to stay.
