BlackBook Lowdown

There’s lots of history in this imposing 1886 building--and some of it is apparenty ghostly. The piano lounge is a study in cattle-baron cool, with cowhide couches and cowboys-and-indians sculptures. Drop in for a stiff one even if you’re staying elsewhere. The antique-furnished rooms make you feel like Rhett Butler and Scarlett O'Hara, but the Wild West aesthetic elsewhere is anything but. More like city slickers with an eye towards the authentic.
