The Greenwich Hotel

Editorial Review

Bobby D. finally gets to add hotelier to his résumé. Personal project, with art by De Niro’s dad behind the check-in desk and Bobby’s own ranch-sized spread on the roof. Hand-cut brick skin to better integrate with the Tribeca skyline. Slightly fussy lobby full of mismatched chairs. Eighty-eight lux rooms with varying international touches: Tibetan rugs, Moroccan tile, Italian marble. Elaborate pool and spa, with centuries-old bamboo farmhouse imported from Kyoto. Where Hollywood lays its head come the Tribeca Film Fest.
