The Hippo has been at the center of Baltimore's gay and lesbian community for over 30 years and it's as fabulous as ever. Sporting phenomenal lighting and some of the most free revelers found in any club, gay or straight, the openness to patrons of all persuasions is pervasive from start to finish. Once spoken of in hushed tones in straight circles the Hippo today is widely regarded as one of Baltimore's top clubs period.
