Impossible to find, even when standing directly in front, THSF brings cult-like followers in by the hundreds. An LA born concept – original store in Fairfax 'hood – this acclaimed collection is inspired by the street subcultures of So Cal. Blacked-out windows resembling a deserted bar in the Tenderloin, store’s animated bomb logo out front as a signal post. Step in front of an automatic bullet-proof silver sliding door (Star Trek vibes) and if the store is open so will the door. Feels like you are heading into a theme park ride with a cave-like dark atmosphere, and if you can see, store is made of rock walls covered in faux human skulls. Careful attention is placed in lighting so you can see the reason they come; limited edition t-shirts, selvedge denim and emblazoned bomb hats. Clothing is subjective but quality and design undeniable. Check out the online magazine.
