Reliable mid to upscale dining options in funky Union Square are hard to come by, so by default the casually sophisticated Indo is the go to spot. The restaurant is mostly an afterthought to the pub room however. Irish aesthetic, dark woods, golden fixtures, and high tables with wrap around wall seating that give plenty of room to snuggle up with a pint. Room gets jamming toward last call and on weekends. DJs keep the tempo and the crowd humming. Intimate and friendly like a neighborhood pub should be.
