Don’t be discouraged by the wooden shack-like exterior, or the fenced-in picnic table seating or the lack of designer sunglasses. There’s a reason why this seasonal seafood joint in Napeague (nicknamed LUNCH due to the prominent sign on its roof) has developed a loyal 40-year following, and it ain’t the ambiance. Stick with the seafood, specifically the famous lobster salad served on a hot dog bun. Scarf it down on a bench with paper placemats and plastic cups—the way it was intended.
