Celebrity TV chef John Torode, who launched Smiths of Smithfields (SOS) is back for new East End fooding adventures. With The Luxe, he makes best use of grade listed building in heart of Spitalfields Market to house his new restaurant bar and music venue. Cool fusions of old and new, food and architecture come together in one interesting venue. Upstairs restaurant is set to open its doors Oct 1st and ground floor is not yet fully delivering on promise of original urban canteen. Breakfast and brunch staples don't go wrong and well- chosen meat cuts will keep burger lovers happy.
