Chicago's last true art house movie theatre. Ogle the vintage lobby, plunk yourself down on a threadbare seat and inhale the warm popcorn smell of celluloid history as you take in the latest Todd Solondz film or a black-and-white midnight showing of Godzilla. If you don't fall love with the theater's long red curtains, starry-sky ceiling, baroque theatre boxes and live pre-preview organ player, it's no wonder you're watching that Edie Sedgwick retrospective by yourself.
