The Parish

Editorial Review

"Now" bands used to play under the cool-blue orbs of lights. Slackers would pack one-hitters while indie rock reverberated off the hardwood floors. Cigarette smokers out front would be entertained by the bass-slapping dude who wore Mardi Gras-themed sunglasses. Nowadays, the bassman is gone. So are the "now" bands. But this upstairs venue is still a great space to catch a show. That's if you can find one you like.
