Gay-friendly guesthouse at edge of Castro, one block from Dolores Park. Perfectly restored 1909 Edwardian charmer with dark wood paneling and deep green walls in foyer, creamy parlor with grand piano and cozy fireplace. Airy breakfast nook overlooking sylvan garden with rosebushes and fountain. Steam room tucked amid the hydrangeas. Mind you don’t trip over Parker (the inn’s namesake) and Porter, cuddly pugs who reign supreme.
