The Saint Bar & Lounge

Editorial Review

Even by New Orleans' antediluvian standards, The Saint is a spectacular dive of a bar. The de facto ground zero for the town's indie-punk crowd, the place has the requisite fetid bric-a-crap on its melting walls, along with video games, a photo booth and men's room out of "Midnight Express." Some complain of "attitude" from the patrons, but the service is remarkably cheery on most nights. When to come? Best after 2 a.m.
