Bright turqoise tequila sanctuary serves up a bajillion different kinds of aged tequilas and top-shelf Mexican eats. At night, candles flicker on the table, and the flickering bounces off the hardwood floors and on to the face of the person sitting across from you. The atmosphere is romantic, without trying too hard. For dinner eat the chicken mole (it has 21 ingredients) or the carne asada. The Saint also has a brilliant happy hour menu—dishes like mini enchiladas, nachos, and steak tacos for under $5. The massive tequila selection—80 available at press time—have been aged anywhere from two months to three years past distillation, for what could be one of the smoothest (and most potent) cocktails of your life.
