Like the chubby little chicks that flit about sidewalk cafés scavenging for crumbs, fledglings flock to this new nest on the block to be spoonfed lunch and brunch from Wednesday to Friday, and brunch on the weekend. On the scarfing list: eggs Benedict, bubble and squeak, mussels, pork chops with fennel, olives and tomatoes. On the do-or-die list: banana and chocolate donuts, homemade lemonade. One small problem: no booze. Yet, that is. With liquor permits pending you'll have to go it sober for now. Add the proverbial hair-of-the-dog to the mix and this chic wooden chalet decked out in cozy tones of brown will become a veritable hangover haven. Update: They got BOOZE! There is a god.
