The Spur Bar and Grill

Editorial Review

Hard-to-find is always a plus, especially when it comes to nightlife activity in Park City. While the conspicuous places are always filled to the gills with fish you wouldn’t want to be swimming with, the off-the-radar eddies are always the place where the in-the-know go to get wet. And while The Spur isn’t exactly unknown (Best Of- awards and glowing big-time reviews), it certainly is a hidden gem. Located upstairs from 350 Main, down a seemingly sketchy alley (seemingly, until you realize this is Park City), The Spur is a kind of Western oasis—upscale, smoke-free, live music and legendary margaritas. Interior is cowboy classy—leather chairs and fireplaces and jackelopes and whole whole nine. Food isn't bad, but the draw is the booze—you're better off eating downstairs at 350 Main anyway. Crowd might be a little older, but with the age comes wisdom…and good bar stories. Don’t let the clientele scare you away, though,  because The Spur deserves your jangling attention.
