St. Lucia's version of Disneyland, the Still Plantation draws day trippers, cruise ship crowds, and tacky touristas by the droves. It goes to figure that the Diamond Waterfal lunch spot can be a tad, umm, overwhelming. The restaurant seats up to 400, so don't expect intimacy and quiet. Foodwise, its lovely, with a focus on regional cookery using local vegetables organically grown on the estate. The site is still a working cocoa and citrus plantation, so take a tour after lunch. We loves the front terrace bar, where the tables are made from endagered mahogany wood (how eco-friendly!).
