Great Hollywood bar of Rat Pack ghosts, not too much a dive, not obnoxious. Los Angeles noir pride. Champagne room lighting makes peers more mysterious and attractive. Garage bands rock disco room Thursdays. The Kinks blare for hot, angry youth, while you can actually hear your date at the tables and get to know the barkeep by name. Sign-less spot for finding that tattooed crooner clone to support while his band records their long-awaited demo.
