Unique, five-star, all-suite property located in Venice-themed resort with faux canals, St. Mark’s Square entryway, and a Doge’s Palace full of shops and nightclubs. The Venetian’s casino is nonstop over-the-top, with replicas of the Sistine Chapel ceilings gazing down as you ride the escalator to the vast gaming floor. The biggest poker room on the Strip is here, with 39 tables beneath coffered ceilings and elaborate light fixtures. The Venetian also has top-notch stage entertainment, from the big-chandelier Vegas version of Phantom of the Opera to the idiosynchratic Blue Man Group and comedian Wayne Brady.  For those interested in something more active, the lovely pool complex is designed with formal gardens, cabanas and pools from Olympic-sized to kiddie-wading. The Canyon Ranch Spaclub is also on-site, providing guests with pampering (aromatherapy massages and ice cream pedicures), fitness (yoga and rock climbing classes) and education (aging lectures and nutrition analysis). The rooms are decorated in ostentatious brocades, tassels and canopies and the opulence continues to separate living and sleeping areas large enough to justify unexpected overnight guests. Business travelers appreciate the fully hooked up work areas and in-room faxes and printers.
