The Westin

Editorial Review

Westin's are great hotels but if you wake up in a sweat not knowing if you're in Portland or Dallas it might be because they're all pretty similar. Big rooms, well equipped gyms and spas—don't want America's business traveler getting out of shape—and perhaps the best bed/mattress/comforter set up of any large hotel. What sets the Philly outpost apart is the $10 million in renovations that happened in 2007 and that room 414 became a canvas for local designers who transformed the room on a regular basis in conjunction with the uwishunu branding initiative. Unfortunately it's back to normal now.
