The Wine Room

Editorial Review

Historic Spanish-style adobe building restored lovingly by owner Michael Garcia has an ultra-cozy interior is the ideal place to waste a few hours contemplating a full bodied Cabernet Savignon with your peoples, and plan the rest of your evening. Plop down into plush couches to watch the University Avenue parade or score a fireside spot in the evening. Houses a nice mix of locals, grad students, oenophiles, easy place to make new friends. Wine list is not extensive by any means, but well selected - for furure reference, we like the Teatown Cellars merlot and Argentine Altocedro Malbec.
