Leave your pumps, oxfords, shift dresses, and suits in the city: Relaxing is anything but theoretical in the Hamptons with distressed denim shorts, crisp white tunics and relaxed plaid shirts and zip-ups. Footwear is soft and slip-on, open-toed or not at all. And yes, you can, of course, have your pick of the pants Theory made its name on. The East Hampton location is larger (with the look of a warehouse sample sale) and subsequently less cozy than its Southampton sister, but it has all the essentials and plenty of couches on which to rest after a long, exhausting day of shopping.
