Once upon a time, there existed the Armadillo and Threadgill's. Cosmic cowboys made their names there. The Live Music Capital of the World was born. One day the Armadillo's owner had to close his shop to save his counterpart's. Its legacy was added to with this subsequent location, an outdoor live-music venue serving Southern grub. Even if you don't chow down before a Gourds show, the psychedelic ephemera inside is worth the trip.
