Long before Leslieville became "Leslieville," infiltrated with yuppie couples and before it pulled a Diddy and was called "Hello Toast", Toast has been feeding neighbourhood locals for over 10 years. Some famous faces have added to its kitschy decor: autographed antique toasters by Clive Owen and Sarah Michelle Gellar; a unique display that includes RuPaul's stiletto hanging in the middle of the room. But it's the homey service and comforting quirky brunch menu that maintains the "regular" status of those mismatched dinette chairs being filled.
