Chef Normand Laprise is considered a god in Montreal. Easy to see why when you taste his whimsical dishes made with fresh Quebec produce. Each bite is a party in your mouth. Ethereal minimalist dining room with touches of art deco and warm wooden panels. Crowd’s a bit stuffy—think music mogul has–been or media maven past her prime. Doesn’t take away one bit from the food or the wine. Worth every dime (you’ll need a lot of dimes.) Seven course tasting menu with wine for around $150.
