Almost too good to share, this Portland import, Torso, is gracing the homeland of vintage with some top notch finds you just can’t get anywhere. Unfortunately located in the heart of SF tourist hub, Union Square, this shop is thankfully not for tourists. From Victorian blouses, 70’s platform shoes, embellished clutches, feathered hats, and Sex in the City type gowns for days, designers include everything from Pucci, Givenchy, Dior and Chanel to lesser known including reworked vintage by the stores own. With an extensive display of vintage jewelry – costume and real - women’s takes up majority of the bulk. It’s the best curated vintage in the city, virtually a museum through the eras. With all this clothing stimulation, enthusiastic staff and an eclectic mix of fab music it’s a once in a lifetime, near nirvana, shopping experience.
