Like the other locations in this restaurant group's umbrella (Cambridge 1, Audobon Circle etc.), Tory Row keeps it simple. Stone design and industrial surfaces. Long communal tables, paired down, but creative enough menu, a bar with only beer and wine and a college-aged clientele who appreciate no-frills but stylish approach. Flatbreads like the smoked bacon, vermont white cheddar, baby spinach and bermuda onion are the smart option here. Best part is central Harvard location, in the middle of the square. Great spot for people watching by large, retractable, front windows.
