The menu for this must post-beach pit stop was created by Nick & Toni’s executive chef Joe Realmuto. As research he drove the “BBQ trail” from Lockhart, Texas, to Kansas City, Missouri, then set up shop in a 100-year-old wooden building, installed an authentic smoker, a communal sink, and long benches. After the slow-smoked meats, down-home sides and a few drinks at the bar you may give up the two-piece; but it’ll be worth it.
