Décor is cheesy. Cocktails are lethal and the clientele salsa loving freaks. Juxtaposing the serenity of the framing canal, the atmosphere is frenzied and the dance floor perpetually pumping. While a whole menu is dedicated to cocktails alone, the Mai Tai is the most potent. Served in characteristic porcelain vases and sipped through straws. Starter plates to share, and Peking duck pancakes make excellent stomach liners. House band is generally bland yet after enough liquor you’ll think they well and truly rock.
