McCarren kickball kids depend on Turkey's for cold, cheap beer in takeout Styrofoam cups. Somehow the fuzz puts up with it. A motley crew of old school desiccated drunks, baseball fans, Orthodox Jews, and run-of-the-mill hipsters, all rubbin' shoulders at this no-frills corner spot catty-corner to the park. Location, location, location. Big Buck Hunter and pool in the back are bonuses beyond the dirt-cheap drinks.
