A classic for decades, mixes comfort and creativity with equal aplomb. Deserves its many accolades, even if we've always been partial to Gramercy Tavern. Grilled and smoked shell steaks, tuna filet mignon, wasabi mashed potatoes. Chic, though environs can have you feeling like you're stuck between pages of Bright Lights, Big City. But what isn't way 1987 these days? Great place to take dad and his credit card when the folks are in town.
