One-of-a-kind is the honor of Upper Playground. A haven for local artists, speaking to the streets of urban/pop culture, this SF brand is recognized internationally. True to its roots inside UP you’ll find graphic driven products – t-shirts, hoodies, vinyl toys, furniture and housewares- including its namesake line of bags, books, and skate decks. Gear features the work of local illustration focused artists influenced by graffiti, tattoos, hip hop and skateboard cultures. Making famous the now recognized Walrus logo UP is not over played or overdone. Collaborations include Adidas and recent best seller Barry Bond t-shirt reading “99 problems, but a pitch ain’t one” Women’s is next door as well as a few doors down gallery FIFTY24SF, in which hangs some of the “off clothing” work from UP’s artists.
