It's not often a roof lounge is touted as "neo-gothic," but Upstairs at the Kimberly Hotel enters the sky-high-partying arena flaunting a deliciously shadowy, slightly Mitteleuropa aesthetic. The year-round destination features imposing but sexy black leather armchairs, a Belgian blue marble bar, incandescent lighting, and actual ivy walls. The menu also leans decidedly Euro, while Upstairs' signature champagne-and-honey cocktail, The Chrysler, pays homage to its most famous view, the nearby Manhattan landmark.
