Café and wine bar, stocked with NYU grad students and a bit of a superiority complex: "Let the plebes have their 'mixed drinks,' we prefer the tang of a crisp chardonnay. " Still, khakis and horn-rims beat khakis and curved-brim ball caps most days. Chess and fifty-plus vinos by the glass. Brewskis aplenty, too, notably those sweet and strong Belgians that really do work every time. Nietzsche makes more sense if you're tipsy anyway.
