Beloved yellow ice cream truck sets up a stationary stand in G-Point. Like if Daniel Boulud ran Mister Softee: a dozen flavors, executed with compulsive attention to detail. Hand-picked Sicilian pistachios, Piedmontese hazelnuts, fair-trade Andean coffee beans. Also serves pastries, with Intelligentsia Coffee to shake out the cobwebs. Open at 7am. McCarren Park will never be the same.
