Veloce Cibo's rooftop location offers glittering vistas from the terrace or through the floor-to-ceiling, wall-to-wall windows. Dim lighting, metal archways and gauzy curtains give the large indoor space an intimate feel. The crowd tends toward well-heeled, older locals--married couples on a "date" and cougars on the prowl. Designed for sharing and sampling, Veloce's menu offers the full global range, with Asian, American, and Italian selctions, as well as a sushi bar, along with a wide rage of wines and specialty cocktails.
