Vento Trattoria

Stylish trattoria in the Meatpacking District's mini Flatiron building from über-restaurant kingpin Steve Hanson. Like Soho older sib Fiamma, but more low key (ergo "trattoria" tag). Pizza, polpette, and pretty people washed down with a glass of Chianti before descending to V as the night gets progressively more festive. Also excellent during the day with lots of natural light, or in the always neck-twisting sidewalk seats outside. Casual meets party atmo ideal for models to bring their cool Midwestern moms to meet their new, sketchy foreign boyfriend over several glasses of vino rosso.
