Editorial Review

Forget fancy and try the real deal, plastic tables and all. Decidedly more authentic than nearby competition, Vietnam is an under-the-radar kind of place that is a favorite among many. Hipster diners and Vietnamese nationals each dine at linoleum tables with vinyl chairs; boisterous big groups are frequent since the tables configure to fit them. Noodle bowls have everyone inelegantly slurping, but embarrassment tastes pretty damn good. Try the grilled pork and egg roll served over vermicelli noodles.
